Sparksneighborhood guide
Sparks offers the widest range of price points in the metro area, from postwar homes near Victorian Square to newer construction spreading east and north.
Sparks is really several markets under one name. The older core near Victorian Square and Sparks Marina is close-in and relatively affordable, while the eastern and northern edges hold newer subdivisions competing directly with south Reno on finish and floor plan.
The Sparks Marina and the surrounding parks anchor the middle of the city, and the industrial corridor east along I-80 keeps employment close for a lot of residents.
First-time buyers in the Reno metro very often end up in Sparks, simply because the entry price is reachable and the commute is not.
